Group Exercise

Group fitness is a fantastic way for community groups to create exercise opportunities for their members. It’s a low-cost option that doesn’t require much equipment or space, and it can net positive health outcomes for all participants. If you’re sold on the idea of adding group exercise classes to your community group but aren’t sure where to start, let's talk. You don’t have to have dedicated group exercise space with a suspended hard wood floor to get started. An open conference room or parking lot will work just fine.

Wages vary by class length, class size, and by geography.

30-minute group exercise: starts at $30

45-minute group exercise: starts at $40

60-minute group exercise: starts at $50

For Employers and Large Organizations

Group Exercise

Group fitness is a fantastic way for employers to create exercise opportunities for their employees.

It’s a low-cost (or no-cost if employees pay) option that doesn’t require much equipment or space, and it can net positive health outcomes for employees. It just may earn you loyalty points as well.

If you’re sold on the idea of adding group exercise classes to your corporate wellness offerings but aren’t sure where to start, let's talk.

Most businesses have some kind of space available to host a group fitness class. You don’t have to have dedicated group exercise space with a suspended hard wood floor to get started. An open conference room can work at your site for both mid-day and after work classes.

Take a look at the space you have to run classes and make some choices based on what you have available. For example, a smaller space might better accommodate a mind/body class like barre or strength and resistance training. A larger room might make it possible to have a cardio-focused or high movement class like cardio kickboxing or bootcamp.

Wages vary by class length, class size, and by geography.

30-minute group exercise: starts at $40

45-minute group exercise: starts at $55

60-minute group exercise: starts at $70

But what do your employees want? Finding out the most popular choices among your workforce can be as simple as offering a quick survey. Consider asking about the following:

  • Preferred time(s) of day

  • Preferred day(s) of the week

  • Preferred format(s)

Popularity for specific formats, and times of day will give you a clear indication what will work for your site. Once you’ve determined a pattern, we can begin to grow your program.
